A rare rectangular shaped snuff-box painted throughout to simulate tortoiseshell, the exterior cover with a panel depicting lovers reclining in an oriental setting with white detail to the borders, sides and base; another, oblong with rounded ends, the exterior painted to simulate birch wood; together with a barrel-shape vesta-case, the cover with a girl at a window and a fisherman outside, striker under base; both marked inside covers; a cigar-case of oval section with hinged top, the front with a girl leaning over a fence towards a young traveller, trace of mark inside cover; and a small matchbox holder with a boyar couple on steps, marked inside
