The cover marked P. Sazikov with the Imperial warrant, St. Petersburg, circa 1890, the base with Cyrillic maker's mark 'AK', probably St. Petersburg, 1896-1908
Rectangular with rounded corners, the hinged cover enameled en plein with a peasant girl in traditional costume standing by a fence holding a vine, within a pan-Slavic border in red and white champlevé enamel, with a silver push-piece, marked inside cover and base
