Depicting the scene 'Moses Striking the Rock', the cut-out figures and the background painted in oil, the rock naturalistically set with various hardstones including amethyst, carnelian, green beryl, obsidian, rock-crystal, and smoky quartz, stuffed Rufous Hummingbirds and vegetation, signed in Russian and indistinctly dated on one of the lower stones 'Worked by Master from the Zlatoust factory.
