Circular, one side decorated with the bust of the Empress Catherine II facing right surrounded by the Russian inscription which reads: 'By the Grace of God Catherine II Empress and Autocrat of all Russias', the reverse with a figure of Faith depicted as a woman holding a cross in her right arm calming with her left hand a kneeling woman holding a child, after J. G. Wachter, inscribed in Russian 'You also will survive (live)' and dated below '1 September 1763', marked with Cyrillic signature of the engraver 'Timofei Ivanov' under the bust of the Empress
