A massive Faberge silver and hardstone bowl, workmaster Karl Gustav Hjalmar Armfelt, St. Petersburg circa 1910 the grey-green marble bowl supported by three entwined silver-gilt serpents with naturistically engraved bodies, their scaly heads turned outwards, resting on a shaped triangular marble base, marked with Cyrillic initials of workmaster, Faberge in Cyrillic, and 88 standard, also with scratched inventory number 24804 diameter 8 3/4in.
