Campana shaped, painted with a scene of a noble family, gilt acanthus leaf border, the reverse with impressive burnished gilt foliate and berry frieze on a matt blue ground, the flared circular foot similarly decorated, the bulbous domed base with acanthus leaves and lotus flowers, flanked by gilt metal handles, the whole on square gilt metal plinth, with blue Imperial cypher for Nicholas I, dated 1826
