The center of each plate gilded with the entwined floral cyphers of Grand Duke Alexander Nicholaevich (later Alexander II) and his wife Maria Alexandrovna, the blue borders decorated with raised gilded flowersprays and scrolls, blue cypher marks, one unmarked, two plates restored.
