Of navette form, each surface painted with a dendritic tendril on a ground of translucent rose Pompadour enamel within opaque white line borders, the lid and base over sunburst engine-turning, the sides over reeded engine-turning and with red pellet corners, the lid with a rose-cut diamond-set frame, foliate diamond and emerald thumbpiece, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 72 standard, scratched inventory number 51?109, French import marks length 3.8cm, 1 1/2 in.
