Campana shaped, the bodies finely painted with military scenes on a trompe l'oeil malachite ground, one depicting grenadier guards in the Throne Room of the Dowager Empress Feodorovna in the Winter Palace signed Stoletov in Cyrillic, the reverse decorated with the Russian Imperial Arms on a gold ground, the other similarely depicting Grenadiers from the Imperial Guard in the Throne Room in the Tuileries Palace, the reverse decorated with finely tooled gilt Fleurs-de-Lys, the lower portion moulded with acanthus and interlacing foliate decoration on trompe l'oeil malachite ground with finely moulded, gilt handles in the form of gothic soldiers, the shaped feet decorated with trompe l'oeil malachite on square brass bases, each marked with blue Imperial cyphers for Nicholas I, dated 1830 Quantity: 2
