Part of an early Christian bronze Pectoral Encolpion Cross
Roughly cast in low relief with a representation of the Crucified Saviour, shown bearded and wearing a long colobium, with the diminutive figures of the Virgin and John the Evangelist on either side of the cross, and an abbreviated Greek inscription reading: Son behold thy Mother and Mother, behold thy Son, 6th to 7th Century.
