Of almost square form, the circular opalescent enamel dial with black arabic numerals over sunray engine-turning, opaque white enamel surround applied with green-gold acanthus leaves, the outer translucent dark blue frame enamelled over a wavy guilloche ground and enriched with four translucent white heart-shaped reserves with two-colour gold acorn centres and green-gold palm branches, beaded silver borders, ivory back with silver strut support, makers mark, St. Petersburg, 1908-1917, English importers mark ɮ., London, 1912, restored, in fitted leather case.
