Wearing full military-dress uniform, the star and sash of the Order of St. Andrew and other orders including the Order of St. George and Maria Theresa, his gold epaulettes applied with the crowned cypher of Emperor Alexander I, sky background, a column with green drapery on the right, signed and dated 1836, later gilt wood frame. Field Marshall Peter Michaelevich, 13th Prince Volkonsky, born 26th April 1776 was aide-de-camp to Alexander I, and his close friend. He died 27th August 1852.
