St. Petersburg, circa 1910, the guard enameled translucent sky-blue over a guilloche ground and mounted with a diamond-set monogram below a coronet, with bright-cut edges, the handle chased with leaves in two-color gold, the ivory slats carved with garlands of vine, the linen painted with a lady and gentleman seated beneath an urn of flowers by a lake, in 18th century style, indistinctly signed, marked with initials of workmaster and 56 standard, also with scratched inventory number 17521. Contained in original fitted holly wood box. Also with a carved and gilded display case.
