ST. PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1895, WITH SCRATCHED INVENTORY number 20579. The carved jadeite pommel in the form of a fruit-bearing apple branch in the Japanese taste, above a translucent pale yellow enamelled band studded with diamond and ruby quatrefoils, the band bordered by rose-cut diamonds within gold bands, some gems deficient.
