By the Imperial Court Photographers, Boissonnas & Eggler, the others by Levitsky, St. Petersburg, circa 1908. Shown three-quarter length wearing diamond tiara and several necklaces, her decollete dress draped with sash and star of an Imperial Order, signed and dated 1908, within a gilt embroidered and vieux rose moire frame; together with two photographs of Nicholas II, Alexandra, the Tsarevich, and two of their daughters. The portrait of Maria Feodorovna is said to have been presented to James Stokes (see footnote lot 417).
