With Imperial warrant, Moscow, circa 1880. The vase-shaped body with interlocking lobed panels of various mythological animals and stylized foliage and blossoms above a band of shaped panels chased with scalework and masks, on raised spreading foot, the similar rim engraved with presentation inscription in German Dem Ula-nen - Regimente Kaiser Alexander II von Russland and Imperial cypher and date 1872-1897.
