Apparently unmarked, period of Nicholas I Pavlovich (1825-1855), the campana shaped vase, on fluted-circular foot supported on square gilt metal base, the body profusely painted with abundant vines and signed F.Krasovski, the flared rim cast with vine leaves and below further decorated with cisele vines, the silver and gilt reed handles rising from acanthus leaves, the bulbous domed base similarily cast with acanthus foliage.For other work by this painter see Russian Porcelain, 1995, No.105 for a porcelain plaque and Galina Ogarkova and Natalia Petrova 250 Years of Lomonosov Porcelain Manufactory 1744-1994, St.Peterburg, 1994, p.83 for a porcelain table top the comparable vase also painted by Krasovski was offered at Sotheby's New York, December 1, 1998, lot 166
