The cover with a plaque painted with Juliet at her balcony by moonlight, by Henry Pierce Bone, after the original by John Opie, dated October 1816, with split-pearl bezel, the sides and base with rosette and foliate guilloche motifs under royal blue and black translucent enamel, with champleve sky-blue and white anthemion and foliage border with pin- drum mechanism (enamel chipped)
