A SILVER-GILT CHAMPLEVIl AND PICTORIAL ENAMEL TEA CADDY, OVCHINNIKOV, MOSCOW, 1884 in Chinoiserie taste, of square section with rounded shoulders and domed lid, the sides painted en plein with historical scenes, the body decorated with scrolls and ornaments in shades of white and turquoise on gilt grounds, struck on the bottom with POvchinnikov in Cyrillic with the Imperial warrant and with makers initials on the neck, 88 standard height 13cm, 5%in.
