FOUR PORCELAIN PLATES FROM THE ETRUSCAN SERVICE, IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST PETERSBURG, PERIOD OF NICHOLAS I (1825-1855) AND ALEXANDER II (1855-1881) painted with classicising figures of a priestess, a standing woman with a deer, a seated man with a sphinx and a winged deity, with antique ornament in black on a terracotta ground, the borders with a chain of anthemia, three with a blue Imperial cypher of Nicholas I and one with a green cypher of Alexander II (4) diameter 24cm, 9½in.
