The saint portrayed frontal, half-length, blessing and bearing the Gospels, flanked by the half figures of Christ and the Mother of God, with a brass oklad, the border shaped as an arch, the spandrels decorated with repousse floral compositions, the frame and the cut-out haloes with stylised patterns, the mitre with semi-precious stones and three painted enamelled plaques showing Christ, his Mother and John the Baptist, the Book also decorated with enamels, the central one depicting the Resurrection of Christ, the rest depicting the four Evengelists
