Property from a Private Collection, USA (49, 58-59, 68 and 71) A Fabergé silver cigarette case, workmaster Michael Perchin, St Petersburg, circa 1900 Rectangular, with a hinged vesta compartment enclosing a strike plate and an opening for a tinder cord fitted with a gold chain, the hinged cover applied with a gold thumbpiece and bearing an inscription in Cyrillic Nina / 7 June 1901, commemorating the birthday of Princess Nina Georgievna at the New Mikhailovsky Palace, the interior inscribed in French and Cyrillic Borzhom 14 September 1901 / from Tipi 1922 / London, struck twice to interior with makers initials, Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard length 10.3cm, 4 1/8 in.
