A parcel-gilt cloisonné enamel icon of St Nadezhda, maker in Cyrillic A P, Moscow, 1899-1908 the robes finely worked in filigree, the saint standing against a chased and engraved landscape below scrolling motifs, the raised corners and halo polychrome cloisonné, the plaque with the saints name champlevé enamelled in traditional shades of blue, struck on lower left front of the oklad with initials A.P in Cyrillic, 84 standard 31.5 by 25.5cm, 12⅜by 10 in.
