A silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel icon of Christ Pantocrator, Ovchinnikov, Moscow, circa 1890 with enamelled applied plaques and halo, the mounted corners of the oklad decorated with various colours of opaque and translucent cloisonné enamel, the halo engraved with geometric foliate motifs and openwork, the background heavily chased and engraved with foliate and geometric motifs, struck with makers mark, initials in Cyrillic and the Imperial Warrant, 84 standard 31.5 by 26.5cm, 12⅜by 10⅝in.
