A Porcelain Cup And Saucer

Cylindrical with flared rim, the gilt cisele body decorated with a multi-coloured landscape depicting a palace on one river-bank, with a white Russian flag on a flagpole, a covered fishing boat on the river, and on the other river-bank a fishing net and three fishermen, two standing and one half lying down, framed within a gilt cisele border, the handle with a moulded medallion scroll containing a star, the gilt cisele circular saucer on conforming gilt foot, the outer border decorated with swags and flanked by two thin black bands, apparently unmarked
