One side of the case enameled with the King of Spades, the other side enameled with the Queen of Diamonds, each end colorfully enameled with a bird inhabiting flowering scrolling foliage, the hinged cover enameled with the Imperial Eagle on a white ground and inscribed in Cyrillic, "First Quality, Created for the Benefit of the Imperial Educational Institutions."
