One side enameled with the King of Diamonds, the other side enameled with the Queen of Hearts, both ends decorated with colorfully plumed birds inhabiting flowering scrolling foliage, the hinged cover enameled with the Imperial Eagle on a white ground, and inscribed in Cyrillic, "First Quality: Created for the Benefit of the Imperial Educational Institutions."
