Painted with a young peasant wearing a yellow tunic and holding a hammer in his right hand and a sickle in his left, on vari-coloured background designed with an open book on a stand and with the slogan RUSSIA in Russian, scalloped border, probably after a design by A. Shchekhotikhina-Pototskaia, by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory (period of Nicholas II) and later black overglaze State Porcelain Manufactory mark inscribed 606/12, circa 1921
