Naturalistically carved, standing with his left hand in his pocket, the right clutching his walking-stick, wearing lapis lazuli trousers tucked into black onyx boots, his cream-colored tunic of white chalcedony secured by a brick-colored jasper waistcoat set with gold buttons and draped by a gold watch-chain, with purpurine lapels, under a grey jasper overcoat, wearing an obsidian hat, with thick red jasper hair, beard and eyebrows on a face carved from pink skin-colored quartz, the eyes enlived by small faceted sapphires
