Designed after the Faberge Caucasus Egg of 1893, on an openwork circular base decorated with enamelled blossoms, the transparent blue enamel over an engraved foliate ground, applied with floral, silver and enamel garlands, the center fitted with four oval portals, each cover rimmed with small pearls and applied with an oval-cut citrine opening to reveal a vacant interior, alternating with additional silver-gilt and enamel floral clusters set with oval-cut citrines, the top of similar decoration (enamel chipped, pearls missing)
