The two saints depicted standing in a landscape setting, St. Simeon holding a cloth on which lies Christ Emmanuel; God the Father in clouds above. Covered in a repousse silver rizza made in St. Petersburg in 1861, the border chased with flowers, foliage and scrolls, fitted with gilded-silver halos. Contained in a shadow box incorporating an elaborate gilt-wood frame of scrolled foliate design.
