Lot details

The first painted with three officers conversing with a third officer holding a flag, with two officers conversing with a mounted officer in the background, on a country road, the second with an officer saluting two other officers in the foreground and two mounted officers with three standing officers in the background, all on a country road, some painting worn, both with identifying inscriptions on the reverse, the borders decorated en suite with the preceding lots, both marked with the Imperial cypher in green, the second plate also with the Imperial cypher in blue within a wreath, the first plate bearing a label from the Anichkov Palace.
