LARGE RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND ENAMEL FRAME
Ovchinnikov, Moscow, circa 1900
Of rectangular form with rounded corners at the top, enameled allover with multi-colored flowers and scrolling foliage in pastel colors and applied with silver-gilt beads on a pale yellow ground, the borders chased with goemetric patterns, with openwork outer borders at each corner enameled similarly. Contains likeness of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna. Has wood back and strut.
