The vase shaped body cut with stellar motifs, on a spreading circular foot repousse and chased with water-lilies amidst waves beneath a faceted mount engraved with donors' names in Russian, the trailing vine entwining part of the body and connecting to the foliate scroll handle, the silver neck similarly decorated with hinged cover and rising foliate thumbpiece, engraved in Russian and dated 1908, marked under base, on neck, handle and hinged cover
