Realistically cast, one foot on naturalistic ground, marked on base. The model of a dancing peasant appeared often in Russian Art, it appeared either as a porcelain figure of on the Lukutin Papier-Mache boxes; even the Faberge firm used it for one of the hardstone figures which is now in the Forbes Collection.
