The borders and body decorated with garlands of pink roses on gold grounds, the sauce bowl with angular handles and the cover with fir cone finial, the dish centred by a small bouquet of roses and encircled by a gilded band of laurel and oak leaves repeated on the bowl and cover, apparently unmarked
