marked Fabergé, workmaster Michael Perchin, St. Petersburg, 1896-1908, with scratched inventory number 174461 (?)
Hour-glass shape, of translucent salmon pink enamel over guilloché ground, embellished with rose-cut diamond-set ribbon bows and ribbon ties and chased and engraved foliate swags, one side enclosing interlaced initials LW set with rose-cut diamonds surmounted by a crown, entwining the reeded borders, the ribbon-tied cresting set with a rose-cut diamond, holding the hinged eye-glasses, fully marked, in a leather velvet fitted case
